Step 1: Schedule a Meeting
Visit the Contact Page or give Greg a call to schedule your initial meeting—at no cost to you. This meeting can take place at your current home or the site of your future build.

Bring any relevant site documents, such as a survey, county aerial map, or buildable footprint—if available.

Share Your Vision

At your first in-person meeting, discuss your goals, preferences, and inspiration. Bring photos that reflect your architectural style. Please note: we do not work from floor plans created by others, so please do not provide them.

Understand the Process

Greg will walk you through the design process, estimated timeline, and expectations—customized to your site, style, and budget.

Begin Your Project

Once the design agreement is signed, your project officially gets underway.

Step 3: Preliminary Design

Stage One

Based on your input from the initial in-person meeting, Greg will develop the first set of floor plans tailored to your needs.

Stage Two

Meet with Greg to review the layout and suggest any changes, additions, or refinements. Typically, these screen share meetings which allows Greg to alter your floor plan in real-time.

Stage Three

Once the floor plans are approved, Greg will provide exterior elevation drawings in three dimensions so you can visualize the exterior architectural style and color schemes.

Revisions continue until you're fully satisfied with the overall look and layout.

Step 4: Final Plans

Once the preliminary design is approved, Greg will begin creating a complete set of construction documents. These may include:

Floor plans with dimensions

Notes for subcontractors

Interior elevation details

Section and framing details

Window and door rough openings

Stage Two
-
Before you submit for permits with your contractor you’ll have the opportunity to revise interior and exterior elements.

We keep the process flexible and fully customizable to ensure your home reflects your vision.

All design fees and billing details are clearly outlined in your design agreement.
